Putting Your Passion into Action: A Conversation on Promoting Civic Engagement and Political Leadership among Women

In advance of the City’s elections, join the Chicago Foundations for Women’s Young Women’s Giving Council for a night of good conversation, inspiring ideas, and practical strategies for taking on new leadership roles and making a difference in your community.

Rebecca Sive, author of Every Day Is Election Day: A Woman’s Guide to Winning Any Office, from the PTA to the White House, is a public affairs strategist who consults philanthropists, advocates, and aspiring woman leaders on tactics for gaining public influence to make the world a better place for women and girls. She’ll lead a vibrant discussion with local women leaders, including Erie Neighborhood House Executive Director Celena Roldan-Moreno, Open Road Policy Founder and Principal Deanne Benos, Senate Democratic Victory Fund Finance Director Liz Nicholson, and Ideaction Corps President and Founder Kelly O’Brien.
